2025 AGM

The TTACT AGM was held at the Eastlake Football Club on Sunday 25 May. A total of 37 members attended, including several by video link. The meeting was chaired by the President Song Chen.
This was the first general meeting to be convened under the provisions of the new Constitution (adopted at the Special General Meeting held on 23 April last).
Before the commencement of the formal part of the meeting, Song announced, on behalf of the Board, the winners of this year's awards, as follows:
- President's Award: Sam Esposito
- Pat Keane Trophy - Volunteer of the year Award: Gregory Mowle
- Jeff Plumb Trophy - Encouragement Award for commitment and sportsmanship: Isidore Ireland
- Terry Mansell Trophy - Most improved player for competition play: Audie Huang
The minutes of the formal meeting that followed will shortly be accessible to members via the website, including copies of each of the reports tabled at the meeting, but key matters decided at the meeting were as follows:
- Election of Elected Directors: under the new Constitution there are 2 categories of Directors of TTACT - Elected Directors and Appointed Directors. There are 4 Elected Director positions and the following candidates were duly elected: Simon Mills (elected for a 3-year term), Serina Bird (elected for a 2-year term), Gregory Mowle (elected for a 2-year term) and Song Chen (elected for a 1-year term). The members present congratulated each Elected Director.
- Election of Nominations Committee: The remaining 3 Director positions to be filled under the Constitution will be filled on the recommendation of the Nominations Committee, subject to Board ratification. Those elected to the Nominations Committee were as follows: Sam Esposito, Rosanna Horn, Anish Nadathur, Niloofar Salesian and Rob Wade.
- Changes to the Constitution: A number of small changes to the new Constitution were carried over from the Special General Meeting, notice of which was provided to all members prior to the AGM. These changes were duly approved and will shortly be reflected in the full Constitution which appears on the website.
Finally, a vote of thanks was passed by the meeting to the outgoing Board of Directors for their diligence and commitment over the past year.
